Niklas Kämpargård has written the guidebook about walking in the Blekingeleden after spending two days and nights along the fascinating stretch of the trail for two years. Apart from nice hiking experiences, the trail - and the book - offers a number of exciting anecdotes and history descriptions about why the landscape and the forest look like it does today. Niklas Kämpargård is a photographer and journalist and lives in Sölvesborg.
On June 1, 2019, Blekingeleden is re-opened after a new venture with new sign material. In the spring, a new guidebook on the trail is released and a completely new map in paper format.
