Exhibition - Susanne Demåne - The human and the Tree

Standort: Karlskrona
Veranstaltungsort: Karlskrona Konsthall
Kategorie: Veranstaltungen, Kunstausstellungen

This year's summer exhibition at Karlskrona konsthall!

Susanne Demåne is one of our famous Blekinge artists. Susanne Demåne live and is active in old schoolhouse in Edestad just outside of Ronenby. It is a place that drags a ton of visitors each year. In the Atelje, and in the garden's scuplture park we have met princesses, shedevils, angels, gnomes and much more. There are usually themes where we get to meet these beings made out of wood with hints of chainsaw and color.

The exhibition in that art hall differs a lot from what we have previously seen of her. The human and the tree is an installation which is about the journey we head out on that never ends - everything is connected. It is about an artist who finds himself/herself in a language that connects both material and the deepest of itself.
The installation truly connects the human and the tree.
